Awards For All Funding
We are proud to announce funding from the Big Lottery Fund towards the opening of our unique Assistive Technology job club on a weekly basis. The funding will directly support those who are long-term unemployed, vulnerable, and socially excluded from society, or parts of society as a result of being dyslexic.
Every individual we support will never face the same barriers as each client is unique. Literacy can directly impact on a person's daily life's choices in many ways, for example finding work, training or simply staying on top of household bills can be difficult.
Our techniques such as visualisation, relaxation and self-counselling help identify the early signs of stress and help develop self-esteem. The job club will promote emotional health and dyslexia programmes that will provide future employment and training opportunities for those most in need.
